Every summer I get myself a beach read. Last summer it was Chasing Harry Winston, this summer it'll be .

I was going to read the Shopaholic books but I didn't feel like ordering them and I just picked this one up for $3 at my used book store and it's in great shape.

My friend is buying me Sara Bareilles' first CD that I found online for only $14.99 and i'm really excited! I'm going to hold off on Feist's "Monarch" for now until I can get it for a reasonable price off of ebay.

I got a book to use for my lookbook slash ideas and inspiration book so I need something to inspire me. Help me out.

How come I just heard of Róisín Murphy last week? Overpowered is an amazing album and I need to remember to order it off amazon before summer.



Last night I watched While She Was Out



and I loved it. Her character study while shopping for wrapping paper was great and her tolerance for people was good. Rotten Tomatoes gives it a 42% but don't take it's word. See it and see it for the chase scenes and resolution. I'd give it a B+.

Well, i'm not very fond of Sunday's because they remind me that I have one full day where I don't have class in the morning. I work five days for one full day, oh well.

Let me think, 39 days of school left? Maybe 40 or maybe 38. That translates into about 6 more weeks of school before the summer! Oh the glorious summer, I just can't wait! I can't wait to take early morning bike rides with my summer music. Oh, I checked, it's 40 more days! LESS THAN 6 weeks!

My school would like us to fundraise by selling cookies. I'm not doing it. They say that if we don't we won't be able to participate in some event on the last day, but what do I care? It's the last day.

I guess i'm collecting movies now, and I like it a lot. I'm not really collecting because it feels like a more negative word in the sense of why i'm buying all of these movies. Movies hold a very emotional place in me since they can change my mood completely. It's a wonderous feeling to get lost in a movie for about 90 minutes.

I watched Ghost World for the first time last night and i'd say that it was my favorite movie ending i've ever seen. I also bought Scoop on Friday and I watched it today. It's awesome to find a low priced movie that you LOVE. That's what makes diving into the Wal-Mart $5 movie bin worthwhile. But Scoop wasn't $5, it was $9, which is still cheap.

I don't know what i'm doing in some of my classes. I feel good about how I work on assignments but i've got two tests coming up for one class and it's making me nervous since I don't really know what we're doing with the problems.

Golly, i'm having a great stretch of days, though. It's flooding here in North Dakota, as you may have heard. It didn't hit me so i'm really thankful. The relief efforts are overwhelming! There's tons of people from out-of-state and all around the country coming in to help sandbag. It makes me feel like this country will never lose it's instinct to do what's right.

To be honest, i've thought about this so much. My religious beliefs tell me that we either go to Heaven or Hell and I believe it. However, I often find myself wondering if it's not quite the case.

Sometimes I wonder if it's like that state of sleep that you have when you're having a bad dream, you can feel yourself dreaming and almost see yourself, but this time you just can't wake up.

I also think reincarnation is interesting. The belief that what you did in your previous life decides which social class you'll be born into and what you'll be in your next life perplexes and interests me. I'd like to study more about Hinduism.

I do believe that i'm going to go to Heaven and see everyone that I missed after they died, but sometimes I just find it really cool to look at what another religion's view on death is.

My mom and dad decided to move out this old dresser that i've had since I was born and give it away. Well that was all fine until I realized that I have no place to put my stuff now.

I had been keeping the following things on my dresser:

-My polaroid camera
-Various camera and cellphone chargers
-All of my magazines of different thickness (about 23 in all)
-Artwork and pages of stuff
-Everything else that I didn't have room for anywhere else.

Now that my dresser is gone I have less space and more things. I want a couch but i'm not paying and my parents refuse. I was thinking maybe a desk, too. I don't know.

UGH.
I yelled at them when they made me carry down the droors and I accidentally tapped the wall *by this much*. They were screaming at me so I called them assholes and they got mad but I was happy. But then we did that thing where we both apologize and it's all good.

It's been a long day.

THIS IS WHY I HATE COMING HOME SOMETIMES.

I turned on my computer, went and made nachos and got some orange juice then went upstairs to find my mom on my computer. I told her that she should go use her own and she's like "JUST A MINUTE!" so I go "UGHHH" and then she pretends to hit my in the stomach, and I thought she was really going to hit me. So I stumbled back and spilled the orange juice all over my white shirt and the carpet.

I just went back to read all of my old lj posts and i'm a really mean person. I also feel like I talk about myself way too much.

What are some good topics to talk about?

When I was setting up my LJ, I was listening to Norah Jones. But I wanted something nicer so I thought a girl's name and a boy's name would be really nice together and I thought the name Tim would go well with Norah.

Now if you google "timandnorah", there's a bunch of things that come up under my username because i've stuck with it!

I just figured out how i'm going to finally have the energy to keep in touch!

After I FINALLY get my Nikon D40 in the next couple of months, I promise to update with more pictures of me and my life so I don't only live in cyberspace anymore!

I don't have the energy to post.
I really am just fed up with people who think that they're so great.
